“Jerry” Aryman Gerald Miller, Jr., 75, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016.

He was born in 1941 to the late Aryman Gerald Miller, Sr. and Mary Foster Miller. Jerry was preceded in death by his sister, Judith “Judy” Miller Vaughan.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Miller; his two stepdaughters, Mary-Catherine Roberts of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Sarah-Elizabeth Roberts of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his stepson, Christopher Sanders and his wife, Lacy, of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his stepgranddaughter, London Sanders; his brother-in-law, Otis “Nat” Vaughan of Weldon; his aunt, Dora Foster Gibbs of Holly Springs, NC; his two nieces, Donna V. Brennan of Elm City, NC, and Traci V. Storey and her husband, Tra, of Jackson, NC; his nephew, Michael Vaughan and his wife, Stephanie, of Courtland, VA; his great-nieces, Amanda Brennan and Grace Storey; and his great-nephews, Franklin Brennan, Jr. and Eric Vaughan.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 2, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Southampton Memorial Park Cemetery in Franklin, VA with Rev. Ben Duffey officiating.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 1, 2017 from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. at Askew Funeral & Cremation Services of Roanoke Rapids, NC.
